The Northshore Cup is a special rivalry challenge created to celebrate and highlight the most exciting matchups of the season. Over the course of 24 designated regular-season games, the Lightning and their regional rivals go head-to-head not only for league points but also for the pride of lifting the Northshore Cup.

Each win adds to the team’s Northshore Cup standings.

The team with the most wins at the end of the 24 games is crowned Northshore Cup Champion.
