Community Hero – Guardian Tanks

The Community Hero Initiative, launched by Chaleur Lightning in 2026 and supported by new local sponsor Guardian Tanks, aims to recognize individuals who make a meaningful, positive impact in the community.

The program celebrates people who support vulnerable groups, foster unity, show leadership, create innovative projects, and embody values of resilience, inclusion, and solidarity.

Community members can nominate deserving individuals through the official team website.  Nomination Form.

Community Heroes will be selected and honored at Lightning games between January and March of this hockey season. Each chosen hero will receive a special gift and financial support for a charity of their choice.
